DAY 1 : DEPART USA

Your safari adventure begins with your South African Airways overnight flight to Johannesburg.
DAY 2 : JOHANNESBURG
THE WESTCLIFF
On arrival in Johannesburg you are met and transferred to your hotel, the elegant Westcliff, situated in an exclusive residential suburb on a hillside with cascading, sculpted gardens and luxurious accommodations.
DAYS 3-5 : MOREMI GAME RESERVE
STANLEY’S CAMP
Fly to Maun and board your light aircraft flight to Stanley’s, a luxury camp situated in a 260,000 acre private concession, bordering the famous Moremi Game Reserve. There is an abundance of big game and you have the opportunity to see the elusive wild dog. Guests enjoy serene water safaris in mokoros (traditional dug-out canoes) and game drives in open 4X4 vehicles – with the rare opportunity of night drives. There is also the exclusive option to spend a morning with a herd of semi-habituated African elephants, observing them up close in their natural environment – a rare and moving experience. (B,L,D)
DAYS 6-7 : OKAVANGO DELTA
LITTLE VUMBURA
The Okavango Delta is the jewel of Botswana and one of the last fully unspoiled wilderness areas in Africa. Fly to Little Vumbura, situated in a private reserve in the northern reaches of the Delta. The camp’s six tents are on an island amidst the largest, shadiest and coolest Mangosteen forests imaginable. Both land and water game viewing are available. Take mokoro excursions through the narrow channels under the guidance of your expert poler, while boats traverse the sparkling lagoons and open 4X4’s get close to animals in the savanna areas. See lion, leopard and elephant along with all the plains game. Guided walks and night drives allow you to relish Africa from a different perspective. (B,L,D)
DAYS 8-10 : LINYANTI
KWANDO LEBALA
Air transfer to Linyanti Reserve, a permanent patchwork of reed beds, wetlands, palm covered islands and open plains, a diverse ecosystem that makes for outstanding game viewing. Elephants are one of the area’s biggest attractions, along with plains game and a full compliment of predators. Game drives in open vehicles often encounter herds of more than 200 elephants. Night drives expose guests to the elusive leopard, the agile bush baby, the springhare and the rare aardwolf. There are more than 320 species of birds. (B,L,D)
DAYS 11-12 : VICTORIA FALLS
RIVER CLUB
After one last game drive, transfer by air to exclusive River Club built on the banks of the Zambezi River on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. Each of the ten luxury chalets are built into the living canopy of giant trees lining the bank. Daily visits to the falls are a highlight. Sundowner cruises are offered, as are visits to an African village and Livingstone Park in search of white rhino. Other activities at additional cost include helicopter and microlight adventures, rafting, canoeing, and so much more. (B,L,D)
