DAY 1 : DEPART USA

Your exciting African holiday begins with your South African Airways overnight flight to Johannesburg.
DAY 2 : CAPE TOWN
CAPE GRACE
Connect with your flight to Cape Town for three nights at the elegant Cape Grace, located in Cape Town’s renowned Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, lined with chic shops and fine bistros.
DAY 3 : CAPE TOWN
CAPE GRACE
Cape Town is one of the world’s most beautiful cities, framed on three sides by the Atlantic, Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles. Depart for the Table Mountain Cableway station for an ascent to the summit (weather permitting) and a tour of Cape Town. Free afternoon for independent exploration, and perhaps a nature hike on Table Mountain. (B)
DAY 4 : CAPE TOWN
CAPE GRACE
Full day excursion to Cape Peninsula. Travel via Hout Bay and Chapman’s Peak to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in elegant Constantia. (B, L)
DAY 5 : CAPE TOWN / SABI SANDS
SINGITA
Fly to Johannesburg and on to Kruger National Park. Continue by light aircraft to your sumptuous lodge in renowned Sabi Sands. Enjoy game viewing in open land rovers and walking safaris with a Shangaan tracker. Go for an afternoon game drive, returning after dark when spotlights reveal shy nocturnal creatures. (B,L,D)
DAYS 6-7 : SABI SANDS
SINGITA
On your morning and afternoon game drives you have an excellent chance of seeing all the big five: elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo. Other wildlife includes cheetah, hyena, hippo, giraffe, impala, zebra, wildebeest, civet and genet cats, mongoose and crocodile. Two full days in the Sabi Sands. (B,L,D)
DAY 8 : JOHANNESBURG
THE GRACE
Morning game drive and depart on your flight to Johannesburg. (B)
DAYS 9-10 : VICTORIA FALLS
TONGABEZI
Transfer to Livingstone on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls where you spend two nights at Tongabezi, a superb lodge comprised of four houses and five cottages situated on the Zambezi River, set among ebony and acacia trees. There is game viewing on the river by canoe or banana boat, bird watching, fishing and viewing the falls. Adventurous optional activities include whitewater rafting (water levels permitting) and horseback riding. (B,L,D)
TONGABEZI ISLAND CAMP
A feature of Tongabezi is the romantic Bush Camp on small, shady Sindabezi Island in the middle of the Zambezi River. It faces a floodplain where elephant, buffalo and waterbuck feed most evenings. Spectacular sun and moonrises combine to make this an incredibly romantic place. (B,L,D)
